About RAVE Foundation
RAVE Foundation is the official charitable arm of Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC. Founded in 2013 as a 501c-3 public charity, RAVE began by serving the greater Puget Sound region and has since expanded to serve communities across Washington state.
We believe in the power of free play to inspire youth, build connections and strengthen communities. Our mission is to build soccer fields for free play and to deliver programs that use soccer, the world’s sport, to inspire and support our communities.
We envision a future where every child has access to play, and every community has a place to come together through the sport.
Our approach is guided by three core strategies:
- Use soccer as a vehicle to empower and inspire
- Remove barriers to participation in our sport, on and off the field
- Support, catalyze, and strengthen communities using soccer as our tool
As the philanthropic partner to both Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC, we are grounded in the shared value of equity in play and life.
