1. Subscriber Information

Individuals that sign up to receive RAVE Foundation e-communications voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and e-mail address). We may use this information for specific, limited purposes, as described below. You may always “opt out,” either now or at any time in the future, if you do not wish to receive our messages. When you sign up to attend an event, you will also be asked for postal address, telephone number and sometimes credit/debit card information.

2. Social Media

RAVE Foundation’s website includes social media features (such as the Facebook “Like” button). These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting on our website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets may be hosted by a third party or directly on the Foundation’s website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing the feature.

The RAVE Foundation’s website is hosted by Heroku, Inc. Heroku, Inc. uses different types of cookies (which are electronic collections of information stored on a local computer that are used by websites to keep track of visitors and registered users and to relate one computer transaction to a later one) and other methods of uniquely tracking visitors for different purposes. RAVE Foundation may provide links to some third party websites as a convenience. The linked websites have separate and independent privacy statements, notices and terms of use which we recommend you read carefully. Please note that in such cases, you are providing information to a third party and RAVE Foundation has no control over such third party’s use of any information you provide and, therefore, RAVE Foundation has no responsibility or liability for the manner in which the third party that operates a linked website may collect, use, disclose, secure or otherwise treat your personal information. Except as provided herein, RAVE Foundation will not provide any of your personal information to any third parties without your consent.

Use of Information

Individual information: We use your personal information in the following ways: to provide you with personalized service; to send e-mail alerts to you; to answer your requests; to process your event purchases (e.g. event tickets); to solicit donations; to notify you of events or RAVE Foundation activities, etc. You may choose to opt out at any time, which will cease all communications from us. 

Analytics/Statistics

Heroku, Inc. uses information gathered from its website analytics (for example, User IP addresses) to help diagnose problems with Heroku servers, and to administer and optimize Heroku’s website, Heroku, Inc. also gathers broad demographic information from this data to help improve its website and make your browsing and purchasing experience more responsive, efficient, or enjoyable. Responses to Email Inquiries

When individuals send email inquiries to RAVE Foundation, the return email address (and other personal information provided in the inquiry) is used to answer the email inquiry received.

Sharing of Information

RAVE Foundation uses donors’ information to understand their interests in its mission and to update them on the organization’s plans and activities. It is shared with staff, board members, volunteers and consultants only on a “need to know” basis.

RAVE Foundation will not provide or sell to any third party your personal information and will keep all information confidential. Your credit/debit card and identity information are secure.
